Head Teacher: Miranda Davis
Miranda grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is a 2012 graduate of Brentwood High School. After graduation, she continued her education at the Community College of Allegheny County while working full time at a local daycare center. While working, Miranda transferred to Liberty University where she graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While finishing her degree, Miranda continued to work at the daycare and was soon given the opportunity to teach preschool. This is where Miranda had the most fun and found her calling. She enjoyed planning developmentally appropriate lessons, creating fun sensory experiences, and elaborate dramatic play centers. Miranda now lives in Claysville, Pennsylvania with her husband Michael, daughter Olivia, dogs Kirby & Tria, bunny Hop Hop & chickens! When she’s not in the classroom, Miranda enjoys shopping, decorating, Starbucks coffee, and spending time with her family!
Teaching Assistant: Julie South
Julie grew up in Moundsville, WV and is a 2003 graduate of John Marshall High School. She continued her education after high school by attending Wheeling Jesuit University majoring in Nuclear Medicine. During high school and college, Julie managed her church Nursery and worked at a local daycare. Not long after marrying her husband, they relocated to Nashville, Tennessee where she was given the opportunity to teach preschool. It was during this time she fell in love with teaching at the preschool level. The kids are always wanting to learn something new. After 10 years in Tennessee, Julie and her husband Brandon, and with their three kids Olivia, Audrey, and Fenix moved to Canonsburg to be closer to family. Some of her favorite things to do when not busy with her kids are putting together puzzles, crafting, and enjoying a good movie.
